So, I'm really, really trying to keep my blog up to date, but I've decided that the winter is just an awful time for me to start this whole endeavor. Even though I live in Atlanta, and we have wimpy winters, I still can't stand the short and cold days. I'm really looking forward to our early southern spring!
In the Mason household, we've either been busy traveling or busy being sick. Since the first of the year, Katherine and I have fought off a stomach virus and an almost constant cold. Thankfully, she's been pretty healthy lately, and I have recently recovered from a sinus infection, so I hope the worst is over. I wish that they could give you a new immune system when you have a baby. My first winter with a toddler has been rough.
Besides our trip to Chicago, I went on my first big trip away from Katherine. I flew to New York to meet up with my childhood friend, Erin (Brese) Paglia. We then drove to upstate New York to spend a few days at a spa. We got an all inclusive package called "ladies of luxury" and we certainly enjoyed being ladies of luxury for a few days.
Needless to say, though, with all of my crazy traveling and being sick, I'm behind in everything. I'll post some recent pictures soon. Until then, here's one of Katherine all bundled up to play outside. Now that she's walking, she insists on going outside to play whenever I'll let her. I don't know how she went from a baby to a little kid so quickly!
